Where Do Core Values Come From?

Core values are taught and amplified by the teaching of State Communities, parents, grandparents, and schools. Embracing core values that are foundational for living a whole and healthy life is not easy work.

Basic core values emerge from the theologies and Holy Books of the three monotheistic faith traditions, Judaism, Christianity, Islam, their belief in One God, having faith in that belief and the Indic religions especially Tibetan Buddhism. Bearing the burden of others, extending compassion to others, engaging in works of charity, hospitality, peaceful co-existence, stewardship of the earth, respecting the dignity of every human being, truth telling, exercising forgiveness and seeking reconciliation between divergent points of view are just a few of these shared values.
